How can I make CPAP more comfortable?

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and have been using a CPAP machine for nearly two years. It has definitely reduced my symptoms and increased my quality of sleep, but sometimes I find it to be rather uncomfortable. Are there any adjustments that can be made to make my CPAP machine more comfortable?

The most important comfort measure for CPAP is the mask. You should speak with your equipment provider/respiratory therapist and discuss what is specifically uncomfortable. Then, you can review other interface options that may benefit you.

You can check with your CPAP supplier to see if the sizing needs to be adjusted to make it more comfortable.
