I underwent a sleep study about 10 years ago and all of my results were clear. However, recently I have had trouble sleeping. Should I go in for another sleep study or will the results be the same? How often is it recommended to have a sleep study performed?

You should first speak with your PCP or a Board Certified Sleep Specialist and discuss your symptoms. Typically there is no need for a scheduled repeat study unless you are having problems. A discussion with your physician can determine if you are a candidate for a sleep study.
