How do you treat sleep apnea in children?

I think my three-year-old daughter may have childhood obstructive sleep apnea. She has all of the symptoms, and I've seen her have episodes in the middle of the night. However, she's so young that I don't want her to have to use a machine at night. How is sleep apnea usually treated in children?

First, an ENT evaluation would be beneficial. It's possible that her airway is crowded.
