Most insurance carriers do cover treatment of sleep apnea. The level of coverage, however, will depend on the details of your own coverage plan.

Yes! But every plan is different in terms of how much they cover. You can learn what your plan covers by simply calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card. We have a benefits coordinator who obtains all benefit information for our patients so we can spell out what a patient's out of pocket costs (if any) would look like.

Thank you for your question. Most insurances cover sleep disorder testing and treatment. For your specific insurance benefits you may contact your insurance company and ask specifically what is covered and the amount your insurance covers. As a courtesy, we would also be happy to verify that information for you.

Since I work with the oral appliances to treat sleep apnea, dental insurance does not cover this and major medical insurance infrequently does. You would have to ask the sleep center to find out if the sleep study is covered by insurance.

Nearly all commercial insurance carriers do cover sleep apnea testing and treatment. Staff at American Sleep Centers contact each patient's carrier for a quote on benefits and coverage specific to the individual's plan.
