Daron L. Scherr is a Board-Certified Sleep Doctor and the Clinic Director of The Sleep Institute, located in Pocatello, Idaho. Daron L. Scherr is the Clinic Director of The Sleep Institute. He was one of the area’s first sleep specialists to be Board Certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and to use a whole-body approach to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. Dr. Scherr has successfully helped thousands of children and adults get the sleep they need. His treatment methods include the use of medical devices, advanced medications, support surgery, lifestyle changes, and oral appliances.

Dr. Scherr earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from North Dakota State University. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his Internship, his Residency in Internal Medicine, and his Residency in Sleep Medicine at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. He has also undergone Sleep Disorders Specialty Training at the Stanford School of Sleep Medicine and at the Southwest Cleveland Sleep Center. Dr. Scherr is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
