The Sleep Disorder Center of Louisiana utilizes the latest medical technology to detect and treat sleep disorders. The four bedrooms used for sleep studies at the center have all of the comforts a patient would expect from home. Sleep studies are conducted by registered, licensed Polysomnographic Technologists each night of the week. These technicians pay close personal attention to the needs of each patient and only care for two patients per night. The sleep study process is completely painless; patients sleep comfortably in full-sized beds while the technicians monitor brain, breathing, and heart activity along with body movements and oxygen levels throughout the night.
